Terms and Conditions – Taxi in Linköping

These general terms apply when you book or travel with Linköping Punkt Taxi AB (company reg. no. 559348-6425), which operates taxi services under the brand Taxi Point in Linköping and surrounding areas.

1. Parties and scope

The agreement is entered into between you as the customer and Linköping Punkt Taxi AB when you make a booking via the website, the app, or by phone, or when you enter one of our vehicles. These terms apply to all trips unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Booking a taxi

You can book via:

  • our website www.linkoping.taxi
  • the Taxi Point app (if available on your device)
  • by phone at 013 328 95 95

You are responsible for ensuring the booking details are correct, e.g. address, time, phone number, and number of passengers. For changes or cancellations, our cancellation policy applies.

3. Prices, fixed price, taximeter and minimum fares

Taxi Point uses clear price information so the customer can see or understand the pricing basis before the trip is confirmed or started. Current pricing principles are shown on our Taxi prices in Linköping page, in the booking flow when a price is shown online or in the app, and in the price information displayed in the vehicle.

  • Fixed price online or in the app: when a fixed price is shown in the booking and the customer confirms the booking, that price applies to the specified trip, provided that the booking details are correct and the trip is carried out according to the booking.
  • Taximeter: for phone bookings, street pickups or trips where a fixed price has not been expressly confirmed, the taximeter price normally applies according to the vehicle’s price information, unless another price has been clearly agreed.
  • Zone, distance, travel time and time of day: online prices may be calculated based on geographic zones, driving distance, estimated travel time, time of day, traffic situation and other practical trip conditions.
  • Route-based minimum fares: certain trips may be subject to a minimum fare or fixed price floor, especially airport trips, long-distance trips, outer areas, very short trips with specific operational costs, or trips with extra operational requirements. Such minimum fares are used to cover actual approach driving, waiting time, availability, planning and vehicle costs.
  • Airport trips and special destinations: airports, terminals, stations, event areas and other special destinations may have their own pricing logic or minimum price level. When booking online or in the app, the price is shown before the booking is confirmed. For phone bookings, the taximeter applies unless another price has been clearly confirmed.
  • Surcharges and waiting time: additional charges may apply, for example for larger vehicles, extra waiting time, additional stops, child safety equipment, bulky luggage, terminal-/station-related charges or cleaning fees in the case of abnormal soiling.
  • Campaigns and offers: any campaigns or offers apply only according to the conditions stated at the time of booking and cannot be combined with other price agreements unless this is expressly stated.

If the price is not shown digitally before booking, the customer is advised to ask for the price before the trip starts. The customer is always entitled to a receipt after the completed trip.

4. Payment

Payment can be made using the methods offered at booking or in the vehicle, e.g. card, Swish, or invoice for approved corporate customers. For corporate trips, a separate corporate agreement may apply.

In case of non-payment, the matter may be transferred to debt collection in accordance with applicable legislation.

5. Customer responsibilities

  • provide correct contact information and be reachable on the stated number before pickup
  • be ready at the agreed pickup location at the booked time
  • use a seatbelt and follow the driver’s safety instructions
  • inform us at booking if you need a child seat, extra luggage space, or a special vehicle
  • not damage or soil the vehicle beyond normal use

6. Our responsibilities

We aim for punctual pickups and safe, reliable service. Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, accidents, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we are not liable for indirect costs (e.g. missed trains or flights) unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

If we clearly cause an incorrect route or another service failure, a price adjustment or refund may be handled in accordance with our refund policy.

7. Cancellations and no-shows

Cancellations are regulated in detail in our cancellation policy. If the customer does not show up (“no show”), a fee may be charged according to the same policy (for example, minimum time or an estimated portion of the trip fare).

8. Children, animals, and special needs

  • Children under 15 must use a seatbelt or an approved child restraint according to Swedish law.
  • If you need a child seat or booster, please state it when booking.
  • Transport of animals may be available in certain vehicles — please mention this when booking to consider allergies and hygiene.

9. Lost or damaged luggage

You are responsible for your luggage during the trip. If items are left in the vehicle, contact us and we will do our best to help locate them. We are not responsible for valuables left unattended or for indirect losses. Any compensation is assessed case by case.

10. Processing of personal data

When you book or travel with us, we process personal data. More information is available in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Disputes and applicable law

Swedish law applies to these terms. In the event of a dispute, we will first try to resolve the matter directly with you as the customer. If we cannot agree, the dispute may be settled in a Swedish court of law. As a consumer, you may also contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
